Therefore people choose a simple life, get married, or love whatever is feasible, and live the life as per their husband, kids, in-laws, and parents.

"When women get married, it's like a magical transformation—suddenly, ‘I’ becomes ‘We.’ All those hopes, dreams, and Netflix preferences are now a joint decision. Who needs individuality when you can be ‘we’ forever. They chose to live with the "We" throughout their life. 

"If you avoid getting married, people love to remind you how ‘sad’ it is to be alone—usually with their perfectly curated Instagram couple pics or pregnancy photoshoots. They’ll tell you to ‘grow up’ and face reality, as if your life is some empty, haunted mansion, just waiting for the magical wedding day to make everything meaningful."

Do we even know our sexual choices, we don’t even know if anyone is gay or bisexual. As they are not allowed to think about it. This is called democracy here. You have to accept the culture and values made by your ancestors, Right.

"Then there’s the other side—singles in metro cities, either job-hunting, boyfriend/girlfriend searching, or apartment hunting. Remember these cities used to be full of excitement during your teenage years? Now, they’ve turned into nothing more than a daily routine of sitting on the balcony, either smoking, sipping wine, or watching traffic and Netflix. 

No one’s fun anymore! Seriously, what happened to fun? Sometimes I catch myself thinking, ‘God, I’m so bored.’ People think traveling is the answer like it’s some magical therapy for life’s problems. But let’s be real—seeking change and ‘betterment’ is just an endless cycle. It’s like chasing a unicorn that’s never coming.

When I see a successful young woman getting married, it feels like how you'd feel about getting tattoos or piercings on your forehead—painful and unnecessary. But hey, as the millennium rolls on, everyone’s expected to have a partner for life and GenZ? Well, they’re just leaving their options wide open now, until they eventually follow the trend, like everyone else

And next discussion will take place when married couples debate between pets or kids, some choose pets, Why choose kids when pets don’t argue, don’t slam doors, and stick around for life? A no-brainer for today’s happily confused couples.

As a great man once said, nothing lasts forever—dreams fade, trends shift, but friendships? They’re timeless. Maybe that’s why people started friend-zoning their exes, rebranding heartbreak as friendship. It’s not 'ex' anymore; it’s 'just a friend.
